Garters
At weddings, the bride usually wears two garters...one to keep, and one to throw at the reception. The garter being thrown is usually less elaborate than the one being kept, and often coordinates with the wedding colors. The keepsake garter is typically white or ivory, depending on the color of the bride's dress and her personal preferences. Garters are usually worn directly above the knee (not higher!).
At homecomings, proms, and other dances, the girl usually gives her garter to her date to keep. For this reason, garters for dances are often personalized with the couple's names and the special date. Our garters can be personalized with foil stamped satin garter ribbons and engraved scalloped-edge heart charms.
